Western Gospel Music for listening or download ...(Free)
Here you will find some Western Gospel music, written mostly by Keith.
I think God likes Western Gospel music. I know for sure he loves the folks who do. Each of these songs has a Bible based message, and as best I know how, I have committed to making sure that all the words of these songs are in line with the word of God.
Listen here or download them, then listen or copy and share them. Please don't modify the words or the music. Receive freely, share freely and be copyright considerate.
Plans to add songs here:
We plan to add songs here, from time to time. So please come back and visit our web site again. I will also be adding new "teachings", new "Cowboy Poetry", ...and don't forget "the book" will be here too.
May the Lord bless you as you listen and further reveal to you...

You Are The One, By: B. Keith Chadwell (From the CD titled ; "High Country's Westerm Gospel").
"You are the One, your the one Jesus died for, you are the reason for Gods sacrifice. The life of His son, was the price that was cried for...... to cleanse all your sins, for all of your life...."
I wrote this song in 1996. I felt then; "You Are The One" has a powerful message and it remains one of my favorites, for that reason. This song is from a CD our old High Country Band recoded in my office/studio at the Ranch in about 2001. Vocals include myself, Julie Miller, Helen Sargent. Helen also does the mandolin, I do the guitars, Barbara, (my wife) on bass guitar, Terry Miller on Banjo. This song has ministered to a lot of folks.

They Couldn’t See His Scepter, by: B. Keith Chadwell ©
"The Pharises and the Sadducees wouldn't recognize their King..."Cause they couldn't see His scepter and they couldn't see His Ring..." (part of a verse from the song)
A “Scepter” by definition is; “A rod or staff, highly ornamented, held by rulers on ceremonial occasions as a symbol of sovereignty or royal or imperial authority.”
Apparently Jewish leaders in Jesus day assumed the Messiah was to come in the natural. It seems, they were expected Him to come with a physical army, to depose the Romans. (See “Chapter Two ”, the book, this web site). Without eyes to see, natural man can not see the things hidden by God in natural types and metaphors. (See “Chapter One ”, the book, this web site.) Thank God for Jesus, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

His Beulah Land, by: B. Keith Chadwell ©
"This ground’s not fallow ..any more, this ground is hallowed of the Lord, the hills are filled with fattening sheep, the valley’s covered with ripening wheat, what once was dry and thirsty sand, is Gods delight now…His Beulah land."
(A verse from the song)
This song is from the High Country CD titled: “High Country’s Western Gospel”. This song is filled with scriptural metaphors and is based on scripture references including; John 12:24, Psalms 65:10, Isaiah 32:14, Isaiah 63:1 and42:1, John 7:38 and 4:14, Psalms 65: 9-13, Ezekiel 47:, Genesis 2:10, John 15:, and others. This song covers a lot of “spiritual” ground in a few short minutes.

Pardon Me Mister, by: B. Keith Chadwell ©
"Pardon me, Mister, for a moment of your time, I'm lookin' for a Jesus man, ...the kind that's hard to find" (a verse from the song)
The true story of the origins of this song can be found in the "teachings" page archives, on this web site. The teaching is titled: "The Pardon Me Mister Story". You need to know the story and I think the teaching will challenge you, as the lesson I learned challenged me. The song was recorded by the old; "High Country" band at the ranch studio a number of years ago.
